Divisionals -- July 10th!
In order to swim at Divisionals on July the 10th, your swimmer MUST qualify! Your swimmer must have swam at TWO regular season meets during the current swim season and have a legal time to be eligible to swim at Divisionals.
The other added benefit? Your family will get to register a week prior to Dillo families who do not participate in Divisionals! And since volunteer roles are "first come, first choice "... it's a great perk!
If your family did not swim in any meets -- you will not be eligible to register as a previous family! We are a swim TEAM and not a swim activity! Participating in meets is mandatory to be eligible to register early for the next season!
You must mark your swimmer to reflect which event, heat, lane, and relay they are racing. This is used to help remind the swimmer of their events and helps our ready bench volunteers and coaches. Use the Heat Sheet to find and highlight your child's events.
Mark the arm as illustrated below in the picture in the order of Event/Heat/Lane/Relay Leg. Write on clean dry skin with no sunscreen. It is best to do this the night before in order to minimize sunscreen washing it away. Please also write your child's full name on their upper back.
Marking up your Swimmer
- Meet events are standard for most in season meets. An event might be eliminated due to time constraints.
- Find your child’s race information on the Event Reports/Heat Sheets.
- Label your swimmers with a black sharpie with their race details.
- On their back, mark their name ‘JOHN SMITH’. You can abbreviate so long as it is enough information for ready bench volunteers to easily identify your swimmer.
- On their forearm, mark their event information: (See further below for Stroke labels)
(E = event, H = heat, L = lane). For relays, add a slash followed by the position on the relay after the lane# (1, 2, 3 or 4)

2020 Season Update – (posted on June 8, 2020)
Sadly, after many weeks of thoughtful discussions and deliberations trying to come up with an alternative to keep our kids swimming, the Aquadillo Board of Directors voted to cancel this summer swim season. We will now focus our energy on the 2021 season.
We made this decision out of an abundance of caution as there were too many variables that potentially compromised the safety of our swimmers and their families. These challenges also prevented us from offering a program for all ages that centers around improving swimming while having fun with the team.
We look forward to the 2021 summer swim season.
